What should I clean when moving in to a new house?
When moving into a new house, it’s important to ensure that the space is clean and comfortable for your family. Here’s a checklist of areas and items you should consider cleaning:

  1. Floors: Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors throughout the house, paying special attention to corners and edges. If necessary, consider deep cleaning carpets or rugs.
  2. Walls and Ceilings: Wipe down walls and ceilings to remove dust, cobwebs, and any visible marks. Be cautious with painted surfaces, as some cleaning agents may damage the paint.
  3. Windows and Window Sills: Clean windows inside and out, along with window sills. This will improve natural light and the overall appearance of the house.
  4. Kitchen Appliances: Clean the inside and outside of appliances such as the refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Wipe down cabinets, countertops, and backsplashes.
  5. Bathrooms: Thoroughly clean sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, and mirrors. Disinfect surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
  6. Closets and Cabinets: Wipe down shelves and surfaces inside closets and cabinets. This is also a good time to organize and declutter.
  7. Light Fixtures and Ceiling Fans: Dust and clean light fixtures, chandeliers, and ceiling fans. Replace any burnt-out bulbs.
